Bamboo with Tortoiseshell Pattern, 1989 162.1×130.3 F100 Awarded Prize of Excellence at Hokuriku Women’s Art Exhibition in 1989

On the way to Zenpoji Temple in Oharano there is a place where bamboo with a tortoiseshell pattern grows. I went there every day to work on this painting. It gave me a chance to commune with this type of bamboo.
